These offshore power boats are an amazing spectacle and we would love you to be here to see the action.

This event will have the Superboat Lite class contenders – these boats are powered by 2 outboard motors with a top speed of 110mph, range from 28-35’ long and weigh in somewhere around 3200kg.

We also have the Super 60 and Sports 60 Restricted class and will include Sports 60 Restricted champion Team Konica Minolta, hoping to continue their winning streak in Paihia. These boats zip along at 75-85 mph, providing some spectacular out of water leaps.

For those of you who want to get out on the water and enjoy prime viewing! Book on the Explore NZ offical race viewing boat – Get up and close to the noise and excitement!!  Tickets are $50

You can also enjoy the show from the Ipipiri at $100 per person which will include “front seat” race viewing , a buffet lunch and complimentary drink. The day will go from 11:30 am until 4:30 pm with race times at 1:30 and 2:30 pm. (your $100 with be donated to the local community projects)

Viewing also from the land – Ti Beach, Tapeka, Watangi Treaty Grounds (you must enter grounds via the main entrance)
